Growing and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking a Reinsurance Underwriting Manager for their treaty operation.  You will manage assigned reinsurance accounts and broker territory to meet or exceed production goals while operating within the context of company underwriting standards.  This includes appropriate risk selection, terms and pricing; management of pricing and loss ratios to ensure production targets are met; proper management of workflow to ensure service standards are maintained and implementation of our positioning strategy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of insurance underwriting and marketing experience, including at least two (2) years of reinsurance experience with major companies.
• Advanced knowledge of workers' compensation product
• Advanced knowledge of reinsurance contracts and usage
• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent with an emphasis in Finance, Insurance, or Business preferred
• Industry training including IIA, CPCU or ARe coursework
• Advanced knowledge of client industry issues, operations and regulations
• Advance knowledge of contract wording directives and requirements
• Intermediate knowledge in loss prevention and claims administration services.
• Advanced knowledge in benchmark diagnostic analysis as it pertains to data requirements and client performance.
