Growing Property and Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking a Commercial Production Underwriter for their Austin office.  Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting and marketing of new and renewal business for all commercial lines for a North Texas Territory.  Developing strong relationships with and managing agency plants is a key part of this job.  While knowledge of Texas agents and accounts is highly preferred, our client is more interested in your technical underwriting skills than knowledge of the territory.  Our client is looking for someone who would like to move up in the organization in the future. 

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the underwriting and marketing of commercial P&C accounts on a multiline basis in either a carrier or MGA setting.  These accounts are in the small to mid sized account range and are 60% Casualty and 40% Property in nature.  Good marketing and relationship building skills will be important.  Good computer skills are helpful.  College degree is required.  Base salary will go to $75,000.  Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.  Job 3013.
