Growing small to middle market Property and Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Supervisor for their Houston operation  Candidates will be responsible for underwriting, marketing and management of a commercial underwriting unit which writes small to middle market commercial accounts up to $250K in premium.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 total years in the underwriting a commercial multiline accounts in a standard carrier setting
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leader capacity for an underwriting unit
• 4 year college degree is preferred
• Professional insurance designations are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Relationships with Texas agents is highly preferred
