Candidates will be responsible for business development, underwriting and management of this healthcare focused group that includes physician groups (individual, group and allied groups) in a wide array of specialties.  As head of office manager, you will be responsible for a reporting staff of local and remote production underwriters and support personnel.  Coverage is written mainly through wholesale brokers and a few select retailers and on a non-admitted basis. 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years total experience in Property and Casualty Insurance Industry
• An in-depth knowledge and underwriting experience of medical malpractice coverage for individual physicians, group practices, allied medical and social services.
• A minimum of 5 years experience on the E&S side of the business
• A minimum of 2 years experience managing an underwriting team
• Strong broker relationships
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor's degree
