Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a commercial lines production underwriter for their Dallas operation.  Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting and marketing of a territory within Texas comprised of independent agents. 

Qualifications:

• 4 to 8 years of Multiline commercial underwriting with a P&C insurance carrier in Texas
• Good technical underwriting skills in middle market commercial account area
• Strong marketing and relationship building skills
• Good track record with independent agents in your territory
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Desire to grow in your underwriting career
• 4 year college degree required
• Professional insurance designations are a plus

This position represents a significant career opportunity for the underwriter who wants to build their career with a solid company.  Candidates must come from the carrier side.  Our client will consider candidates outside of Dallas, but you must be underwriting within the State of Texas.  A high preference will be given for candidates who are local to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
