Prominent Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a multiline commercial field underwriter for Arkansas. 

Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting and marketing of middle market commercial accounts in the Arkansas territory.  You will work out of your home and travel would be 50% of the time throughout the state.   Your primary purpose is to develop the territory in the mid market accounts segment.  An important aspect of the position involves managing and developing agent performance and the book of business through personal analysis. There will be underwriting support in the reporting office.  Developing strong relationships with agency plants is a key part of this job as well as underwriting new business.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the underwriting and marketing of commercial P&C accounts in the state of Arkansas.  Good computer skills will be helpful.  These positions provide an excellent career path for the right person.  Base salary will go to $80,000 + bonus.  Job 2818.
