Our client is a growing and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance company which is seeking a senior production underwriter for their Dallas operation.  Candidates will be responsible for underwriting and marketing of commercial middle and upper middle market accounts on a multiline basis for some premier agents in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area..

Duties include:

• Manage the profitability and growth of a book of business.
• Solicit, select and price individual risks; apply company underwriting strategies; document underwriting decisions; collaborate with others when authority/approval is needed and/or required.
• Lead the agency evaluation process including assigning appropriate tactical elements and monitoring progress toward objectives.  Remain aware of legal, legislative and competitive trends within the assigned territory and recommend action as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years multi line commercial underwriting experience with a standard lines carrier
• Strong agency relationship management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player who is committed to customer service
• Bachelor's degree is required.
