COMPLIANCE & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - TX

Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a manager for compliance and product development.  This person will interact very closely with the underwriting department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage quality control process to ensure compliance with Regional Underwriting guidelines and best practices
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the assessment of the Company's competitive position and make recommendations on appropriate course of action including new product development and existing product enhancement
  • Develop and define consistent and effective corporate processes/best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance, underwriting, and related systems.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and situations to determine if performance can be improved through training.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills training abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Insurance, or related field and continuous education related to the job. 
  • 10 or more years insurance experience with demonstrated understanding of insurance and underwriting processes and procedures including management experience. 

This is a unique staff level position that incorporates underwriting, compliance and product development skills.  Salary to $150,000 + bonus, depending on experience.  Job 3098
