REGIONAL FINANCIAL SALES MANAGER - Midwest

Our client provides F&I and aftermarket products to retail automotive dealers through a dedicated sales force.  As a Regional Finance and Insurance Sales Manager, you will be a key player in managing the success of the F&I Executives.  As the leader of this Midwest Team, you will help drive growth and profitability in the assigned region through sales related to the company's line of products.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience in a business to business environment with a minimum of at least 1 year of sales management experience required.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology.
  • Advanced knowledge of finance and insurance underwriting principles/techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of F&I business offerings
  • Advanced understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles
  • Advanced understanding of the industry, market and competitors
  • Thorough understanding of principles, techniques and terminology of claims and the claims process within this industry
  • Substantial knowledge of legal and regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and operations including interpretation of financial statements and administrative processes.
  • Understanding of effective training and training delivery methods
  • Demonstrated management skills including planning, budgeting, coaching, interviewing/selection, and performance management preferred.
  • Licensed to sell insurance products in states where required is preferred (or willingness to get license).
  • This position requires a minimum of 25% travel (within the Midwest territory) and can be as much as 50% at times.
