Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a Team Lead - IT Developer for the Texas operation.  The candidate will be a member of the IT management team and report to the CIO.  You will work with the IT management team to establish IT strategy, deliverables, methodologies and processes. This is a leadership role and you will provide input and ideas on taking the IT function to the next level.  Current Programming Skills are required, as this position will be a part of the actual Development Team.  You will also provide technical leadership when team reaches obstacles or requires a decision when multiple options are possible.  
 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited collegiate institution
• Minimum of 7+ years working in information technology field, with concentration in programming in ILE/RPG, Websmart, HTML, JAVA, JSP
• Minimum of 3+ years in supervisor or management capacity in information technology filed
• Working knowledge of the IBM iSeries Servers, Blade Technology, VM Infrastructure
• Minimum of 5+ years working in the Insurance Field
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Development of Projects in a fast pace environment
• Strong project management and task focus delivery
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
