Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a senior underwriting officer for their Dallas, Texas location.  Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of the underwriting function for a multiple office operation specializing in commercial middle market business.  You will have the opportunity to develop strategy for products, underwriting and profitability.  Ideal candidates will have a background in middle market commercial at a home office AVP or VP level in a midsized carrier.  Regional underwriting management candidates from large carrier will also be considered.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 15 years experience in commercial underwriting and management at the regional or home office level.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in management
• Strong technical underwriting and leadership skills
• Track record for positive results
• Solid underwriting experience in commercial auto is required.
