Growing and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking an underwriting manager for their Wisconsin operation.

Candidates will be in a dual role and report to the underwriting vice president.  One part of the job involves leading and managing a commercial underwriting and loss control department composed of 8 direct reports.  The part of the job involves working on home office product development projects.  This position is a grooming role and the person must be willing to be promotable. 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the underwriting and marketing of commercial insurance.  This includes all lines of commercial and workers' compensation
• Must have a strong knowledge of commercial auto and contractors
• Need experience in product development
• 4 year college degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong leadership and influence management abilities
