Growing and profitable Property & Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Manager for their Southern California operations. The candidates will be responsible for all aspects of underwriting and marketing of commercial lines of business in the small to middle market arena including the profitability and staff. Lines of business will involve all lines of commercial. Candidates must have a strength in GL, Property and Auto.

Qualified candidates must have:

• A minimum of 15 years' experience underwriting all commercial lines of business with a P&C Insurance carrier
• A minimum of 5 years in underwriting supervision or management
• Strong leadership and technical skills
• Good mentoring and coaching skills
• Excellent broker relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

This position is a working manager role with underwriting and staff management responsibilities for both offices. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Job 3242.
