Growing and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a commercial lines field adjuster for their Austin operation. 

Candidates will be responsible for field investigation and claims adjustment for claims within a 100 mile radius of Austin.  These claims involve small to mid-sized commercial accounts in a wide variety of classes of business including contractors, restaurants, mercantile, mainstreet etc.  You will be responsible for your area and report to the home office.  This is a great opportunity because you get to bring your experience and independent adjuster relationships to the job and effectively manage your territory.  The position comes with a company car and expenses.

Qualifications:

• 4 year college degree required
• A minimum of 5 years experience adjusting commercial P&C claims on a multiline basis with a carrier, broker or independent.
• Commercial lines claims experience is required.  This position is 50% casualty and 50% property.
• Good track record for results
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent technical and relationship skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
• Proficient in use of claims software
• Ability to be promoted in the future into a supervisory role.  Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
