Prominent Property and Casualty Insurance broker is seeking a Director for their commercial lines department in their Austin operation. 

Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of commercial lines including sales, servicing and general operations.  Our client is seeking someone with a solid track record for turning around and building growing commercial lines agencies.  Candidates will need to have a thorough knowledge and experience with running a medium to large regional insurance agency. 

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years experience in a property and casualty insurance agency or broker
• A minimum of 5 years experience managing a commercial lines department in an agency
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Solid track record of positive results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
• 4 year college degree is highly preferred
• P&C insurance professional designations are considered a plus
• Texas insurance license
